this is quite adorable and I like it lots. I like the detail to the background and the cuteness of it all. I like the detail to the cherry blossom petals and the kimono. I rather like the brush style used here, it rather suits the piece, brightness and crisp, glad you came back to give us more, cause I've spied on the other works you've graced mt with :)

Oho! It's been a while since I have submitted here. I honestly haven't been walling at all. D: I had some old walls that I submitted over at Animepaper with my old username on them. I thought I couldn't upload them here because of that. But than it dawned on me...clone tool! So now I'm going to update a few with with my username here so I can submit them..lol!
Ok, so I made this wall a while back ago. It was my first real attempt at painting over a scan and I had no idea what I was doing really. I didn't know how to vector yet at the time either..lol. But when I seen this scan I had fallen in love with it and wanted to use it.

I made this using Gimp. :P I airbrushed the hair and skin. I used pattern textures for the clothes and brushes for the grass, and the petals. I played around with the lighting and layer modes for the background. Keep in mind, this is old. :P lol.

Time spent: About 2 weeks on and off.

Was tied as my second favorite ending and my favorite guy from the beginning <3 so I really love and adore this wallpaper for that reason alone but the details and work you've put into it are also rather amazing and as such, thanks a bunch for this wonderful wallie <333
