Uh...so, this has been done on a whim (like most of my wallpapers, lol. Plus I liked his sexy, evil smirk) but I'm glad it's finished; took me more than a week to do that. I wanted to do a different background initially but then realized that this is actually quite fitting and I was too lazy to do adjustments that would have to be done without the fire-ish background.
I extended Shiki on both sides, vectored the lines and painted the rest. I haven't really done a full fire
background before (that KHR wall was kind of halfway painted with it) so this was quite a challenge. I'm still not
quite happy with it but I was fed up with smudging so many colors and stuff around. Besides, the background wasn't
even that focused in the original scan since the main focus was on him.
Painting the guy was fun although that jacket of his killed me quite a bit. I wanted to make him lineless but figured he
would blend in with the BG too much and bold lineart worked better to make him stand out more. When I was done, the left
side seemed kind of empty but nothing really came to mind for filling it up except more fire and my hand was screaming
at me to quit that idea. Any other ideas that came to my mind (the extension of that rope, the extension of his jacket,
a flying sombrero, flying ducks, flying cheese...yes, I was getting desperate) went down the drain so I opted for good
old-fashioned text. Mrawr, yeah. In the end I played with some gradients, levels, brushes and colors and that was it.

Ooh, a wall for Shiki <3 The flames and his sword both look all kinds of awesome given the detail you put into them and the smirk on his face definitely gives your wall the all-around badass feeling^^ I really like the added effect the little embers from the flames give off as well. Here I thought you weren't gonna wall Nitro+ because of the Nitro plus ecchi girl you were so pissed off, but hey it's a bishie hahahahaha
Bold lineart kinda deviates away from your usual style, but it did made justice to the character or else he would blend in with the flames.

LOL flying cheese and ducks XDDDDDD all of us, when we ran out of BG ideas underwent that rawr phase.Gonna use this as my desktop BG as it doesn't clutter with my icons.

Oh snap I see this really intriguing thumbnail, click on the image, and see your name! ;DDDDD Muahaha of course! The shininess and vivid colors caught my eye immediately. You know I love this kinda stuff. This is no exception - really great work on this one! If I were to mention anything, it would be that I'd prefer darker shading in the eye/iris to really give him an intense stare. But hey, this rocks enough as it is (just like your past KHR one). :3

Lol, like Ash, i picked this as yours straight away also. Well i saw this wallpaper a while ago but i have been too tired and distracted to make any comments in the last few weeks so im going on a spree now. All ill say is that it looks great and i like the burning feel that this wallpaper gives! I cant say more because i would just be repeating the same old shit that ive said on all your other walls as their all so awesome! XD
