From the artbook JAPANESE COMICKERS 2. There's no actual note, but Haccan describes the scene in the STEP-BY-STEP: "This picture displays a duel between a Japanese samurai and a western warrior. I created the characters by imagining a battle that would show the winner commanding her shadow guardians, who were born from candlelight, to extinguish her opponent's candle flame."
