BACK FROM THE DEAD!♥It's been a while since I made something, more than a year,I think, and this wall was laying almost finished for a long time.I made those cakes so yummy, that it was a shame that they were laying around and not being used as my background ^_^ I just recently got a new monitor that's exactly the resolution of this wall,so more reason to finish it...

Everything was painted in SAI,the background comes from this img with little changes and extension ^^
Tropical Kiss#548333

And Asuka is taken from this manga scan:

Otomen#418448

I may add some more versions, with different colors of his shirt later,if I'm not too lazy xD

Hope this is good enough and that people with somewhat enjoy it ^^

Love the colors on this! I especially like the work you did on the fruit and the background. It just seems such a bright and happy environment!

One crit though... it kind of seems like a bit of his head is chopped off on the right side.... i dunno the more i look at it, the more it just seems irregular, thats all. And i took a look at the original scan and saw that was your own personal add-on and trust me... im hopeless with extensions like that. ^^" But i thought i would just point it out to you nonetheless. XD

But really it looks great! I am digging the color-work you gave to the monotone themed scan and i like the blending of the background!

Okaeri ..*Hugs..long time not see your artworks. and Wooow it's so gorgeous..>o< b..you draw the background really nice and sweets. specially the cake .Love it so much...
mmm can I comment about his head? I didnt know why but I feel it's a little weird around his hair..are maybe that's just my immagination ^_^ over all is really great job ^o^ b

Love the details on those cakes and ice-cream and the way you made the background but like Brad has mentioned, it feels like a great portion of his head and hair is missing on the right side, lol; extending some of that hair and making it more full would do the trick.

Nice to see you're back! :)

    Welcom back Storm!
Firstly, I like the color scheme - very bright and yummy. Also kudos for the BG - it look so detailed and there's too many elements (I meant it in a good way).

While I adore these, I do find the right side of the character kinda flat and I also find the back portion of the BG lacking (like it's too uniform). Other than that everything is great!

First if all, I can see all effort that you put into this work, and it's great to see a work like this in the gallery :)
But, in addition to what Alenas and others said, the biggest problem that I can see here is the perspective; there is something totally wrong about it.
I can see that you tried to made the perspective with different "plans", made some table smaller than other, and go on...but it seems that changed the original background image, you lost the original perspective of it, too >.<
Plus..I can't understand what rappresent the oblique lines under the door, they should be a "floor" or a part of the "wall"? oo

I repeat, I really appreciated your work in this one, but you should put a little more of attention on the "technical drawing" part of it :)
    Keep up the good work!

ps: to made a little more clear the issue about the perspective, I made these images:
    Original background Perspective
    Your work perspective
as you can see, in your work I can't find a point in wich most of lines finished >.<
