An early birthday present for world's most adorable otouto ever <3
I wasn't planning on submitting this anywhere (hence the small resolution), actually, but then realized that Prince of Tennis needs more love. And since it's my favorite anime ever, here's my contribution. Not to mention that this is my first wall in 2012. I seriously fail at this 'let's open Photoshop more often'-business lately. -.-'
So anyways, this is pretty simple: lineart, background, painting. Ryoga's racket (which I failed) is originally red and his shirt is dark grey, but I had this obsession with green-yellow-blue text and I didn't have those colors anywhere on the wall. Plus otouto wanted something colorful and I am yet to learn how to make a black-white-red wallpaper colorful. So I somehow ended up with yellow racket, blue tape and green shirt (and navy lineart instead of traditional black 'cause it doesn't look as harsh). XD At least it looks nice against greyish background...?
Ryoma in not included on purpose. That little guy tends to steal the spotlight from other characters. My otouto is a hard-core Ryoga fan so we couldn't have that. Plus I wanted to keep things simple and not too crowded. I must say I am pleased with how it turned out. But seriously, can this man, erm, boy get any more awesome? This scene was an overkill.
