A long long time ago in a Minitoyko far far away, the things that made up a good wallpaper were a perfect scan extraction and an awesome scenic background.
This wallpaper only has one of those two things (hint - it's not the scenic background) but that's not the point. :P
Anyway.
I started watching this anime the other day and I really like it a lot so I poked through the scans and found this one, so now here we are. :P
There's about 30 layers and I worked on it off and on all day today. I realize that it's not all fancy and pristine like all the vector walls are nowadays but I never got very good at doing that so... I stick with old school, I guess. My old school isn't very good either though. ><
I hope someone likes it anyway. XD

The green looks synthetic, it's too saturated, the sparkles on the water don't really fit and the far away mountains need some mountain shades, like cliffs, rocks, not an uniform and blurry grey.
Great scan extraction though, I like the atmosphere, didn't see the anime yet I can tell the wall fits the general mood of it. -

The green is definitely bright...doesn't look realistic because it is.
The mountains are a bit too blurred and smudge, they look washed out and more
as if you were still working on them :\
The sky is good and the water is really nice, more darker colors in them would've
really brought some more movement to it. I've seen the anime actually, ha-ha. It does
fit nicely with the characters, at least the school life side of it.
I do love how the characters blend in with the background, it looks very sketchy
and the textures work together.

Nice wallpaper. Yes, the colours are bright and primary, but I'm guessing that's stylistic. It's cute, and there's definitely a story in the picture. (^_^)
