Lawrence Kimbala, codenamed Shona, was a member for the SPECOPS Echo Six unit, and operated as the team's field scientist.
Lawrence originated in Zimbabwe, southern Africa, where he helped treat diseases. When his father died, Lawrence attended the Harvard medical school, where he learned virology. With this knowledge, he was selected for the Army's special weapons program.
