hi people! ♥
today, I bring to you a Hapi Mari wallpaper 'cuz I love this manga ♥.♥
I vectored an image from the manga. and from that image, I thought a rainy day would fit it the most xD since Hokuto
looked so down and totally desperate (kyaaah~) so, I created a background according to what I thought :D
everything was done with pen tool (mountains, lake, wall [I know the "supposed" wall sucks.. sorry ^^"],
street lamps [of course there was a stock image :D])
and for the first time of my life, I painted clouds =^^= I was really happy of the result :D (and yeah, actually there
are clouds but we can't see the sky ;))
then, I just added the rain effect. my big problem was the dropplets >.< urgh! I didn't know at all how to do
them TAT so I somehow managed to do smthg that looks a tiny bit like dropplets of
water ;D I just played with layers style as the tuts on the net showed it :3
I didn't want to add light 'cuz I wanted the wall to look 'desperate' ^^' dunno if I managed to
do so :/ so, I 'broke' the glasses of the street lamps :D
finally I adjusted the colors, saturation, contrast and all!

this go around, going to have to state the wallpaper is better than the indy, thus I'm posting here :P I rather liked the vectoring of the fellow, but there is just something about the rain and the effects which completes the piece, leaving the vector void, but it completes the wallpaper nicely and completely. very good, I like this one, seems suitable for how I'm feeling at the moment. can't wait to see what you might share with the mt masses next :)
