Aww...I think it's cute and simple~ Nothing seems to pop out...Maybe if the girl waws in a darker tone of the purple used or lighter shade to make her the focus of the wallie~ But it's cute~

Scan from MT. I'm not familiar with this series at all, but it was a nice picture and I thought I had a good idea for it.
This idea didn't turn out as well as I thought, and I spent a good portion of last night and some of today working on it. And Photoshop kept crashing, then wouldn't load all my fonts. Grrrrrrrrr. It must hate me. -_-;
I think the wallpaper is serviceable. It's not my best. Constructive criticism welcome.

Not bad concept. Just the edge of lineart around hair and her ribbon that sometimes it just disappears (maybe you cut that portion off accidentally).
Do you have any stock photo in the garden or outside the plain with grass and tree? Her hair and skirt are blowing so I think it may spin the idea of this wallpaper a bit.
