Sorry for a bit rude, using Mai-Chan as my drawing title.
Actually I’m make a Mai-Chan fan-art, yep so this my Mai-Chan fan art version from me..
I’m wrapped Mai-Chan with sack, composing her on centre canvas, added some required element (snowmen etc), adding
weird dull-colored clouds, managing lights and illumination around her.
CRYING
What can i say?..My Wintry Wonderland Entry? (please, don’t get Mai-Chan angry with my late submission entry , I’m
OK if this one recognized as normal entry due my unforgivable lateness), surely I’m put all my sweat and blood to done
this one, i'm cannot leave something unpolished.
LIKE A SLUG
Slow? Hai, very slow, ultra slow.
Taking much time than expected, even with 3 days extension still can’t done.
Anyway, what time is it? Wintry Wonderland deadline? Already passed? ooooh T_T
Looks i can’t figured out to submitted on time, though the result was’nt perfect for me..some parts need some
refinement.
Must i do 8 month drawing again?
3 DAYS ULTRA HARD WORK, EXTRA PAIN
During 3 days extension, at least i’m done following :
1. Get my right palm stiff, (over gripped and clicked mouse repeatedly)
2. My shoulder needs some treatment.
3. Sleepless night (at least, I’m force to spent it out for 2 hours rest)
4. Up to 5 cup/can coffee (various taste )
5. Collapsed on 4th February, very tired and cannot continue anymore, bed is my ideal choice. Resuming on 5th Feb.
6. Finish date : 2012/02/12
WANT TO SIMPLER, BUT GOING COMPLEX IN THE END
Painting with mouse is real horrendous things i do. Unlike tablet pen, mouse doesn’t support pressure, tilting,
bearing, rotating, anything, everything. In the end not painting, but PAIN-ning. Geez..I’m trying to switching with
simpler art to beat the deadline like I’m announce on forum, but my hand cannot stop shading, add more shading. I need
tablet pen at least, maybe next year, so i have no choice to struggling with my mouse (again)T_T
REINVENT
The process same with previous art, drawing, sketching, art line, painting. Special for this case, I’m using my sketch
rather vectoring. Usual method i do is replacing my hand stroke with vector/digital outline, but I want trying something
different, new, and the result : total reinvent! It’s my first time maximizing and pulled out all all brush potential
seriously, but must sacrificing my finger with clicking repeatedly, sometimes set manually brushes opacity/hardness to
achieve desired result. I’m called these cheap trick “fake pressure”. Hmm, i think those daunting process can
replaced with tablet easily, just one stroke with pressure i got same/better result. I’m also using Illustrator, but
looks it completely devoured by Photoshop brush, some vector elements still visible but actually I’m managed to
destroy all vector-look stuff for this session to matching all brushed look and glowing ambient light.

but sorry i can full my promise. (T-T) (T_T) . Maybe next year, i’m trying to speed up my works :)

so amazing, mind-blowing! I can’t stand my entry which created with cheap techniques.

My energy remains no more than one drop water, i’m do everything in last 5 days though still over deadline, my
sacrifice and hard work pull out my energy and brains, i’m hungry too, I’ll get myself recovered after long-time
rest. Do anything you want like commenting, or just play around my GB with my default userpage layout

600 dpi, I’m forget to reducing resolution while scanning (300 dpi = optimal resolution for my computer can
process)

1st submit get error : The following errors occured:
file: Image too large in dimensions, maximum amount of pixels is 10000000 (arrrgh)
Resizing 80% fix this error.
2nd submit : Updated to larger resolution 85%! Up to 86% or original size, will get error message again ><
