Puella Magi Madoka Magica Wallpaper: The Puella Magi Side of Life

Tales of the Tape:
- Duration: ~12 months (on and off, of course)
- Format: Photoshop
- Tools: My trusty Macbook Pro trackpad, nothing more, nothing less
- Artists: original images from ideolo and sayori (for the Madoka vector)

Ah finally, after almost 12 months I am able to finish this wallpaper and submit. Life's been hectic for me, but life's like that. Anyway, I drew inspiration for this wall from the classic ads made for Coke, the one with stuff bursting from the opening. I saw this scan from the artist ideolo, but the original was too cramped. I decided to go with vectoring the same format as the four girls, save Madoka. In the end, I was unable to search for an ideolo scan with Madoka so I decided to go for ideolo's "sibling", sayori, and ideolized her version of Madoka. Everything here is vectorized and conforms with the Coke logo, but instead I used the term "Puella Magi" keeping true to the theme of the anime, which was dark and tragic in a way. Thanks to brosteb for telling me about this great fresh anime. And two thumbs up to Akemi Homura, for fighting the Walpurgiss Night like a boss!

I hope you like this wall. I plan to make more in the near future. More parodies for everyone. Currently, I have been brainstorming three walls: Katekyo Hitman Reborn, FF VII, and Fairy Tail for my future parodies.

    Oh That's why I saw you online a few hours ago and that is to submit something here hahaha...

    This wallpaper kinda reminded me of aqiaqua's coke style.

    Although it has this concept, I think something is lacking.... Maybe shades of yellow and orange. But it's still nice seeing characters from different sources and piecing them together.

    I quite enjoyed this series a lot, and I'm glad to see walls in it's category, but at the same time I'm dissapoined in the idea you picked since someone else already used this concept and made a really good wallpaper out of it. So that's a downsize for me.
    I really wish I could see the original scans, I wonder why you didn't linked them, can't really squint much since the progress image is TINY, so it's difficult to say anything about the execution since I dont have anything to compare to.
    The vectoring is really nice.

    Oh nice concept! Adopting the style of the Coca-Cola really fits your whole wall! The characters are well placed and the monsters where are nice
    addition to the background, the creepy Kyubey fits the coke bottle as well and the vector is clean and neat! I Overall nice choice of concept and I love how you presented it! Good job! +fav! ^^,
