Wow, love the painting on the girl, the sky, and the mountains! The slight blurriness of the trees makes it a little hard for my eyes to focus comfortably, but that could be something with my eyes more than anything else, so who knows. Anyways, lovely work!

Gah, I managed to finish this on time....well, hopefully. X__x
This is my entry for the MTM WINTRY WONDERLAND 2011-2012 contest and I'm so glad it's finally done. I wanted to give up two days ago because I've been busy with some things in real life and haven't touched this wall AT ALL but I pushed myself forward and now it's finally done.
I wanted to add the snowman somewhere in the picture but I don't really have much time for it so I guess/hope the scarf is enough. The background was made from scratch and I nearly died working on it. I've never really tried painting mountains (unless you count those retarded-looking hills I did a few times) so this was quite a challenge. I tried looking at some photos and images and they still don't really look much like snowy mountains I had in mind, but meh, I'll practice some more. The cottage and pine trees were fun to make, as well as the girl but that snow also nearly made me pull my hair out. In the end, I added some subtle textures/brushes, played with gradients and stuff and that was that.
I'm sorry I didn't have more time/motivation to polish this better - the lighting could've been refined
some more and the shadows suck but this will have to do for now. ._.
The title is also very original, I know. >_>;

Ahh, another nice wallpaper from you Lena-chan <3 The background is very nice, I like the snow. The girl is pretty; her hair and eyes look nice, her eyes are also very clear. I love the coat and scarf she's wearing! Even the belt looks awesome! (I wish I had her outfit; no seriously I want her entire outfit, it's just awesome XD) The flower on her hat is cute and a very nice touch. Also I LOVE all the purple in her entire outfit; it's my favorite color <3 Even the feather, the soft looking inside and the ends of her scarf on the right side look good here and they are just more cute added touches you did to her outfit overall that make me love it even more. And also the kitten she's holding is cute, it's fur looks soft. <3 If you could push her down just a little bit so her hair isn't touching the top of the wall that would be great, but it's a very minor issue. Beautiful work! <3

All that aside it seems that you have some time to spare i mean amazing wall in this short amount of time.
About the wall, the character is well done and the bg is a great but i think there is too much awesome(got you there didn't I)

Lineartless hair again *____* Nice! I like the coat of the girl as well as the Kitty and the featherish thing at the scarf. Also the trees!Even though the BG is minimal, it still gives off a calm and cool feeling.

Wat you finished so fast! Mmmm yummy golden and purple glowy colors. :3 Very nice and soft and subtle. Still wished you could have made the kitten cuter though. D: Hahaha. Also this is minor, but her hat touches the top of the wall very tangent-like - you can nudge her down a tad to fix this. :)

Snow + cats = WIN in my book.
I like the lighting a lot, it looks very soft and warm; makes me wonder what more you could've done to it by polishing it XD And the fact that you made the background from scratch is...wow. Though the cabin looks kind of...boxy? Don't know how to describe it better. Maybe some smaller wood panels would've looked more realistic but I feel your pain about pushing yourself to finish ;_;

Simple but clean! And WTF..background from the scratch...!? Doing these mountain, pines, clouds, warm sunlight from scratch must be crazy..but in the end you're finished doing these stuff, polishing isn't longer needed.

I was looking for a nice winter wall for my desktop this year, came a little late but it's here! XD
I love the character, and yes the kitty is just perfect for the scene! The snow looks very warm
and reminds me of a great time in my childhood where winter was actually winter and snow covered
the yucky streets of my hometown. The vectoring is flawless and the sunlight on her is just the perfect
touch it needed - I would love for it to be more intense but other than that it's just gorgeous. -

You're already done with it and I've gotta say it looks awesome.
I'm so in love with the lightning, it really gives a warm feeling. The cabin could have more details because it looks weird compared to the rest of the wall but it's just a minor thing.

Even though it's a winter scene, somehow Mai-chan doesn't feel cold at all when looking at your wallie, alenas! The lighting just makes the snow seem so warm and inviting!
She imagines herself inside the cabin with a hot cup of cocoa, while playing with that supa kawaii kitten! XD
