Whoa nellie ! The art werk is too sweet ! The detailed artwerk is to die for. For example, I can see the wrinkles in Asuka's blue jean skirt, with shading (light and dark values). Then there is both Shinji's and Rei's shirts. There are wrinkles (folds) in their shirts. Then the steps behind them, uniformed in shape and size. There is the subtle shading that makes the steps real such as the cracks in them, the mortar between them.
The next thing I find pleasing to these eyes is the light that fall on Shinji, Asuka and Rei. The light compliments in a way that their light (their aura - is it possible for anime charas to have a spirit ? If they were real people, then yes ! ) Shines then. Seeing their faces show me that each person is believable, that each person real and kind. I have seen the anime, not the manga ( I should read it ! ) For each person is a complex and at times, a scary individual, wrestling with their individual demons..
I did look at this scan for quite some time, just savoring the beatiful artwerk. One, I salute the illustrator for drawing the characters. I salute the person sharing the scan with all the viewers ( including little ol' me- hahaha ! )
What a nice tostart my day with a cup of kohi and having some of the cast from Neo Gen Evagelion looking right at you.
