My first wallpaper for 2012!
I'll have you know that I've been such a big fan of Gundam SEED for many years. I'm quite happy that Gundam Seed has an HD remake. It's so nice to see the episodes again. Of course, I'm still loving my favorite Cagalli.
Now on to the wallpaper...I wanted to do a wallpaper with Cagalli in it. I was initially going for Kira and Cagalli
together until I saw this scan:

Shinn for Dinner
Chibi characters are so cute, and I'm especially enamored by the fact that it also featured Rey and Shinn. I started with the lineart right away. I didn't go with just plain old black lines. It didn't take me that long to finish it up. Coloring was very fun. I also used soft brushes and gradient for the job too. I added the clouds, the mushrooms, and the fire from the original scan to completed the wallpaper.
Poor Shinn...and Rey's having too much fun with this. Cagalli looks so innocent and cute!
