Artist Comment
My latest wall features Jo from Bakuretsu Tenshi, a fairly new series out by Gonzo. I love the western character designs and artwork, but I have yet to see the first episode of the series. Many thanks to Tama-Neko for providing the awesome scan~
The BG was originally made for the series \"This Ugly and Beautiful World\" but the grunge didn't really fit the theme so I scrapped that and went for something more appropriate.
The rustic colors and grunge really help emphasize the western theme I was going for~ ReCGed the scarf, added falling bullets, grungy text and swirls, and some little details for the finishing touch.

nica clean n crisp scan. the bg is a bit bright to me, but the texture and the colors go well together. the only negative thing i havta say is the sparkle on the bullets. they look a bit fake and out of place. maybe i look at wallpapers waaaay too in detail. anyway, its one of my favs
