I want to dedicate this wallpaper to Sel/A-chan for being ever so encouraging in my art. >_< Her enthusiasm is boundless! Clouds are probably inspired by Raffachan and aIshiroi - So I'm dedicating it to the two of you as well, my inspirational pals! :D
Actually there's a not-all-that-funny story about choosing this scan, because I baited Sel to roulette through random mangaka names, using alphabets and numbers; and she kept landing on either Ecchi or super hard scans. D8 In the end, I broke down and just let her choose normally - and she chose all these PIXIV scans. . . . .A.
Anyhow, it got done! Used SAIs version of vectoring on the girl - the Linework Layer. Made the lineart easier and faster.. But perhaps not necessarily better. I have ways to go before I perfect this technique. *A*
Sticking to the rules and not going painterly on SAI was tough. xD I'm not sure if the shading method is within the rules; I used solid blacks and whites, took the opacity down notches, then used the blur/water tool. ... Well, I like how it looked on purple. I haven't used this sort of shading in ages, the effect looks somewhat...softer than I'm used to. Also, there was supposed t be more shading on the girl's hair, but I got rid of it since it looked too heavy and messily distracting to me.
Textures are courtesy of Darling Mionette, who really is a darling because I love these easy-to-use textures so. <3 <3
The stars are rather random, and also made with Linework. But it looks more 'stage backdrop'-like, right?
The Halloween theme is also random. >_> Oh yay, break in the Christmas pattern.

lol, I travelled back to Asia and am supposed to be on study break - both the Internet and I seem tired lol, that's why I might be a lil out of it. hope I can finish 2 more walls though.
EDIT: Added more versions - all widesceen, not just the listed ones, but also 1366 x 768 and 1280 x 720. Just add /1366x768 after the download url.. :)

Aww, so cute. And again, with the walling of my Alice in Wonderland obsessions. >.<
I really like the textures you used on her; they add a lot of interest. Maybe a texture on the clouds would have looked cool too? Some sort of shadows for the big cloud and the little one might also help to get a better perspective of distance as well. But this is largely Snicker being a nitpicky dork so you should do whatever you want; it looks great as it is. Very nice job, and good luck on your contest! :D

This one looks interesting in the thumbnail! And it's also nice in the fullview. One thing I'd say about it is that everything looks rough-ish/has this texture feel, and I meant it in a good way, but for some reason her fave and hair is so liquidy or smooth that it sets it somewhat off.
Noentheless this is still such a nice wallpaper. -

Ah very nice work.
I know its probably what you were aiming for and im not being nitpicky... but there's something about the line art that bugs me. It must be the color of the lines that puts me off... but if that's what you were aiming for then it's your call i guess. ^^But its still great work. Shes a cute character indeed!
