Wow, nice transformation from the scan. The red and green really matched well and I believe you've executed a nice
color scheme for Christmas. I like the glow you did on the starts as well as the light colored line art. The light
colored lineart gives off a very different and nice feeling.

Christmas wallpaper time! I wish I had more time to work on it, but sadly I've simply run out. I'm going to be pretty busy the next few days with Christmas right around the corner, so it was pretty much now or never.
I wanted to try something a little different with the wallpaper, for me personally and different from what we tend to see around christmas time. I'm not really big on "Sexy Santas" (though I have seen a few that I think are cute). I vector/painted the scan of Sakura & added extra stars to match the current ones in the image. I gave her dress a floral texture and lighter line-art to give the dress a sort of sheen effect. Originally, I kept her dress yellow, but the pastel look just didn't look right, so I made the dress a deep red and the background green for a more Christmas-y feel. I followed my sister's suggestion with the pillar/wing and gave it a marbled look. For the background I kind of tried to mix a stained glass feel with the movement from the painting Starry Night, and textured the background and stars.
That's pretty much it for this one. I wanted it to be a little more simple, but I hope it turned out okay. Merry Christmas, everyone!

Wheee, it's so Christmas-y! Love the way you changed the colors to fit the Christmas theme and you even added a subtle glow on Sakura from those little glowing stars. Nice job! :D

Very pretty :) Not sure about the texture for the green background, but everything else looks lovely - the color changes are great, love that it's a more subtle Christmas-themed wallpaper ^^

aw this is pweeeettyy! love the darker colors and wine red + dark red looks so elegant! and the golden colors give a nice touch! happy to see a non ecchii christmas stuff.
