Ail from Sailor Moon.
Sometimes the villains in this show were a lot more interesting than the main characters :D
I found this to be the case not only with Ail, but also with Neflite, Rubeus, Prince Sapphire (who wasn't really a
villain at all...) or Dr. Tomoe.
I liked the story of Anne/Ail, it wasn't as childish as the later seasons and the design of their characters was
pretty cool. Not many characters manage to look good with green skin :D
The only screenshots I found of Ail were small and rather blurry, of course also due to the original quality of the
show, being done in the early 90's.
So vectorizing them is great fun as you can see them in a clearly increased quality.
I used the pen tool in Photoshop for both lineart and coloring. Took me about 2 hours.
