Finally the long wait is over! I haven't walled in nearly 3 months and look! I walled a bishie.
I've been itchin to wall a bishie because I'm having this bishie craze ever since I watched a couple of otome games trailer. At first this isn't the project I'm working on, it was actually a TRC one (trofichi knows which TRC scan), but then because otome game trailers took over, I looked for a badass, hot bishie under otome games and I stumbled upon this SCAN
I enjoyed doing the hair a lot, but it really killed me especially the orangish gradienting thing. I was like panicking even when I was doing the base coloring if I got them right, coz I haven't walled for nearly 3 months and was worried about my skills in them. Luckily I pulled it off. The clothes especially the Jacket has 3 different textures. I also want to thank Alenas for the grundge brushes she sent me. The chains also contain around 2 different textures.
As for the BG, well there is a progress picture of the BG below. The progress only contains the BG part, because my external 500 GB broke and all my vectoring process of the character died with it! Even my A-Z anime archive were gone so, you know.... Anyway, the BG really killed me. I was like always knocking on Alenas and Nysha for BG ideas. I went through like 3-4 BG revisions before settling down(check the process pic). Each and every platform has a different color and they were each textured, so my PS was hanging on me. I also added as much detail as possible. The lighting became a problem too. Thanks to Nysha for the guide or else I would have messed up that part.

I think we all agree, Ash has outdone herself with this piece.
Not only is the character so rich in detail but her mysteriously constructed background
keeps you locked into the wallpaper. It's amazing to see original BG ideas, we get to be in the mind
of the artist and I think Ash did a wonderful job portraying her skills in this wall.
Certainty deserves a full view look and a highlight.

I like Shin's hair and eyes^^ The chains are another very nice touch that I like a lot, I think the background is really nice. And the colors you choose are really nice and well balanced here; not too bright but not too dark either. Really great job Ash :)

Beautiful vector work! I love how you added the rusted scratched texture on the metal and the chains. Good to see that you added a bit of motion blur-like effect on some of the cards too. But as someone else pointed out, the chains next to the character's middle finger (on the left side) doesn't seem connected from the way it overlays each other. Like it's supposed to loop in each other and not just on top of each other. Kinda hard to explain, but I think you'll know what I mean when you look at it closely. Nothing major though. ^^
Overall, excellent work on this one and congrats on the highlight! :))

This truly is like honey to my eyes, soft, smooth and vibrating. You've done a brilliant job with this, the colours blend like a lovely candy bucket that compliments each other very well ^^ Not to mention the stunning work on the background that both fits the character, the game and to the picture in general like a perfect piece of a now finished puzzle. Everything is a wellshaped and wonderfully mastered piece of art. Really lovely wallpaper, I'm changing to this as we speak. Really gorgeous ^^
