Finally the long wait is over! I haven't walled in nearly 3 months and look! I walled a bishie.
I've been itchin to wall a bishie because I'm having this bishie craze ever since I watched a couple of otome games trailer. At first this isn't the project I'm working on, it was actually a TRC one (trofichi knows which TRC scan), but then because otome game trailers took over, I looked for a badass, hot bishie under otome games and I stumbled upon this SCAN
I enjoyed doing the hair a lot, but it really killed me especially the orangish gradienting thing. I was like panicking even when I was doing the base coloring if I got them right, coz I haven't walled for nearly 3 months and was worried about my skills in them. Luckily I pulled it off. The clothes especially the Jacket has 3 different textures. I also want to thank Alenas for the grundge brushes she sent me. The chains also contain around 2 different textures.
As for the BG, well there is a progress picture of the BG below. The progress only contains the BG part, because my external 500 GB broke and all my vectoring process of the character died with it! Even my A-Z anime archive were gone so, you know.... Anyway, the BG really killed me. I was like always knocking on Alenas and Nysha for BG ideas. I went through like 3-4 BG revisions before settling down(check the process pic). Each and every platform has a different color and they were each textured, so my PS was hanging on me. I also added as much detail as possible. The lighting became a problem too. Thanks to Nysha for the guide or else I would have messed up that part.

I think we all agree, Ash has outdone herself with this piece.
Not only is the character so rich in detail but her mysteriously constructed background
keeps you locked into the wallpaper. It's amazing to see original BG ideas, we get to be in the mind
of the artist and I think Ash did a wonderful job portraying her skills in this wall.
Certainty deserves a full view look and a highlight.

Wow, the coloring really reminds of Alien-ale's.
I love the way the character turned out, it's beautiful and really delicate. And the lighting on the chains is really well done, kudos on that :3.While I adore the BG, especially its originality, I feel the persepective needs some tweaking, or more like, the way the perspective is colored. Like, the third level of the building (from top to bottom), the silver one is really detailed and the coloring is just right. But the top one, meaning the green one, looks sort of flat when it should be most detailed of the them all as is the one closest to foreground.
Aside that Ash, you have really outdone yourself here. It's really amazing 0_0

Lol, you managed to incorporate several of my favorite elements into one wall- bishies, chains, cards, and gears. xD But really, the texturing looks great and the background you created really adds a dramatic effect to the scan. His mouth looks a little odd to me as does the texture on the floor in the top left corner, but those are really minor details that don't take much away from the wall. Great job, Ash! :)

I must say that this is absolutely wonderful and the bishie is soooo yummy *__*
I love what you did with the hair and skin and...everything else. It's so smooth and delicate that I can't stop staring at it.
This time you really did it with the BG. Fits perfectly and all the textures look great on it.
Kudos for creating such a complex original BG, I'd die vectoring it xD

Yay finally a good Amnesia wall! This is absolutely stunning at that. I just want to play with his hair it looks so soft and shiny. >.< Amazing job on the cloth, like Nat pointed out, it looks so real.That background...gah! Wow!I love how the cards turned out especially. Nice Nice work! +fav!

Love what you did with the chains and the other "grungy" elements (especially that fence-like floor), gives a sense of claustrophobia even though the room is so big. And the skin! I think I'm in love with the way you did the shading on his face *_*
My only complaint is in regard to the chains outlines: they look too sharp and sometimes jagged, especially the horizontal one (near his hand). Maybe duplicate the layer and apply a slight blur to it?
Nevertheless, I'm in love with the textures *_* Great to see such a good vector + grunge wall again! -

I can definitely see Nysha's influence :)) It's beautiful. You enhanced the "scan" ten times over. Which is what wallers are supposed to do. A bit to much gradient on the green floor maybe?

Whoa, the BG is just freaking awesome! Must have been really though to make it trough! the only thing I would add are shades of the chains in the BG, they could be on the metal constructions in front, simlar to the way they are on the character's jacket. But forget it, its awesome enough either way^_^ the colours work well too and I like the vector job^^ wonderfull work overall, congrats of having a lot of patience and motivation, keep it up in the future!^_^

Aha - yay you finally uploaded. :D Congrats for finally finishing! Lulz you were so worried too - c'mon it's fine! Look how it turned out - aren't you satisfied? XD I'd say my fav parts are the textures, especially on his clothes! You also did the eyes very well, for adding more colors than just red to give depth and shine. :3 Somehow the hair seems like it lacks that extra contrast you once added, like the layer adjustment got lost somewhere down the road... Also I'd be interested in seeing an alternate with a lighter bg - more smokey stuff obscuring the bg details in the upper left, so that there's still hints of bg details, but he himself is still the main eye-catcher. Well done! About time we got a vectored/painted wall like this!
