Heya! Long time no see.
Let me introduce to you my dear friend PolterCat. He died a long time ago and holds dearly of his skull (he never told me where he got it from though.) At sunset and sun rise, he can jump between our world - and the underworld.
More to come. Wallpaper took me ages. :( Still not really finished, but I can't stand staring at it anymore.

This is so cute and endearing and awesome even though it's supposed to be, yenno, scary and poltergeist-ish and all. I especially love the brush strokes and the awesome attention to lighting. A really original and interesting wall. Hope you've got more of that. XD

This cat must have quite the life. Running around defiantly in daylight with a skull on his head; moonlighting in the Underworld like a boss.
Anyhow, the atmosphere in this wall is beautifully done, with the twilight tones and the ethereal lighting. I love the textured brushstrokes, the way it makes the background seem to take on depth when I stare at it, but especially on PolterCat - his fur is lit up so well. Completely pettable, skullhead or not.
The glowing, liquid-like will-o-the-wisps trailing from him are awesomely luminous and sublime; my favourite bit of the picture. Surreal too, is the symbolisation portrayed in the way the clouds and mountains frame the crack of dawn; the cracking open of the gateway between dimensions.
The variation between textured and smooth painting is so well executed, I'm jelly of your skills lol. Just the right balance of surreal and realism. :3
P.S. It took me long enough to realise that ohh, poltergeist + cat = PolterCat. o-o I kept thinking "Potter", as in Harry Potter. :x I blame Sol //shot
P.P.S. That website is one of the cutest things ever. Are all those facts true? :3

PolterCat stalks the Niiiiight~! \o\ I quite frankly love all of this wallpaper, but my favorite aspect is the purple glow around the tail. Very Nice work, Felesya!
