And I did another wallpaper using my new indyArt :3
This is the work I'm talking about, please give a look to it, too!: Flowers Wall by Raffachan

Obviously the meaning part of this work was the fanART itself XD
But actually I tried to do a "dark" wallpaper from it, adding a coloration and a texture. Also I added the text, chosing one of my favorite phrase from the film *_*
Anyway I uploaded a "without text" version :)

So, about the drawing you can find all info in the link abover, about the wallpaper:
Program: Gimp 2.6 + GPS
Texture: http://browse.deviantart.com/?qh=&section=&global=1&q=light+texture#/d15prpl
Howl Jenkins&Sophie- Howl Moving Castle - is © Diana Wynne Jones
Totoro - My Neighbor Totoro - is © Studio Ghibli

wow. It's amazing how you drew everything yourself. I like the colours and the texture.. It has a old, worn out look... It has a nice 'dark' feel to it too- not too dark and also some warm lighting to highlight the two characters..
    (I spy totoro! XD)
The quote is sweet and fits your wall~ Lovely painting~ :3

Wow, so cool! I've always been a fan of Howl's Moving Castle, and I love your how warm the colors in your artwork are. I'm also generally wary or wallpapers with text, but I think your quote really adds a nice touch-though it seems like a different font for the quote part might fit a little better with the rest of the wall, but it still looks nice as is. Great job! :)

    So much detail! *__*
I absolutely love this! I'm a huge fan of Howl and you did this movie justice by making such a lovely wall! <3 The deep warm colors really gives off a cozy romantic atmosphere. Aww and i see a little Totoro doll too. Much love~~~ ♥

I'm a huge fan of Howl's Moving Castle. So much so that I had an avatar of Howl for quite a few years over at AP. It's probably my second favorite Studio Ghibli film right next to Princess Mononoke. Since then, there have been several films released by the studio, but it's always wonder to see such love from a fan, especially when it's a custom piece, to a movie that has been out for a few years now.

First off wow. I seriously mean this, W-O-W. The first thing right off the bat that anyone notices is the sheer amount of detail put into this drawing. First off, I love the changes made converting this piece over to the wall. I fell head over heels for your drawing, and to see it getting a whole lotta love in wall form really blows my mind. The amount of detail really shows great tribute to Studio Ghilbi in my book, since their films always have such character and detail behind them and this drawing is no exception. I also really love the choice of colors you used for this as well. As Chibi mentioned, the warmth really gives off a romantic feel and for good reason! We've got some serious sexiness in this piece. Is that a shirtless Howl lying next to Sophie? Why yes! : D

Secondly, I really love that you went with your own personal take on this piece. With all the loving nods you made, I love to Totoro doll in there, it's quite obvious that this has your signature marks on it and your own take. Above all else, that's what I really love about this wall. It's so personal, and I know each wallpaper is personal but this one just really gives off that feel to me. So much depth and feeling conveyed in here. Seriously, it really is hard for me to articulate just how much joy this wallpaper gives to me and what I love about it. If there was a complaint to be given, it's a shame that there aren't bigger version of this, but obvious since it started as an art piece first and moved to a wall second, that can be a bit more tricky to work with.

So what else can I say? A wonderful speed drawing video? Check, a great artwork piece turned wallpaper? Check. Seems to me like this is a huge success and a home run, Raffa. Fantastic work!

Your artwork is fantastic and very impressive! All the attention to detail in the room is wonderful and it feels like you've captured the very essence of the movie. I love this couple and I enjoyed the movie as well as the book. Thank you very much for sharing.

Excellent job on this piece, I really admire it a lot especial for a Ghibli film which I'm a huge fan of :) and also, I saw the link to this piece on YouTube and you have done a remarkable job! Keep up the good work and I would be looking forward in some more of your outstanding pieces in the future!
