I like this character so much!
I found this scan of her (Thanks to nat!)
I vectored it, drew and vectored stones and crashed chess floor. I added a moon that I textured. I added some texture for the floor too. I chose a simple BG to stand her out.
I finally worked on contrast, light, dominant color and saturation to achieve this result.
I hope you'll like it!

The vector is cool, but the moon is supposed to be a reflection on the floor, right? Maybe you should lower the opacity a bit so it looks softer.

Nice job on the hair. I still don't know why you blur the whole thing. You want to achieve something that looks painted? don't vector and just blur, paint, imo.
