Lately, my works have been abstract stuff. Thought I'd go back to my roots - scenic. As always, my works are either red/orange or blue/purple... This one just uses it all. XD (I don't know why my stuff always turns out that way...)

Created this wallpaper with the influence of the 2011 Tron movie and Einhänder, one of the coolest games I've played on the Playstation. Its soundtrack inspired much of the look and feel of this piece. Do check THIS LINK out to get a gist of the feel of that game. Wish they'd make a second one, rather than mass Final Fantasy games...

More resolutions @ The Forgotten Lair
(only widescreen or HD because cropping too much of the background takes away from the feel)

Whoosh damn you got me listening to that game's soundtrack now. XD
Nice to see some moar scenic! (not that I dislike abstract) First reaction on ap, but I was going to say something about the sun I noticed - that it could have some orange in the center too or something hmm. But I like the reds and blues cause they look all neon and shiny. :3 Looks very sweet on my HD monitor~~

Teehee, this really reminds of one of your previous wallpapers! Specifically to this one. I actually feel this is like a continuation of that one, or like a B-side lol.

I really like the red on this, it's simply vibrant and really makes this wallpaper stand out from the rest of the gallery :3.
I only wished you played with the lighting on the character, adding more shades of blue and red.

Aside that, it's a very amazing wallpaper, the little text fits perfectly! I love the way you have with typography <33

I remember you told me about wanting to be able to really go crazy with a city tech-styled background that you did in Red Torn Orange, except more elaborate. Boy, was this a pleasant surprise to see. Well, that and you re-fueling my addiction to Einhander.

So, how do I begin this? I'll go first with the negatives, because there are so many positives that if I just keep going I'm going to fill up a page. Firstly, while I love the sunset, there's just something about it that bugs me a little bit. I don't know if perhaps it should be lower with the city being as dark as it is, or perhaps cover a bit more of the landscape. It's by no means even remotely bad. I think the red was a fantastic choice and it looks gorgeous. A red sunset is one of my personal favorites, so it's rather hard to dislike it, but if I had an issue that would be it.

Oh gosh, so where do we go from here? Firstly, the scale of the city itself. When you had talked about expanding what you did in more detail for Red Torn Orange, I had no idea you were talking about this type of expansion. This just blows me away by itself, so much so that I almost would like to have a wallpaper of just the city landscape itself. With the spotlights, the giant TV screen to the variety of unique lighting applied, this truly is far beyond anything you worked with in your AP Clash wallpaper. This alone is simply beyond gorgeous. Especially in terms of perspective, detail and lighting.

I like the inclusion of the scenery and sky itself, but I'm really glad that you chose to keep things minimal and instead let it lead your eye to the city. It works well and looks good for what it is and only helps aid to how the city itself looks. The building that the character is on as well works rather nicely, although it makes me sad that I can't remember his name after playing the game. He fits rather nicely on top of there as well!

Overall, I can't say too much else than what I already have. Aside from a few little things here and there, this wallpaper is 200% awesome, far above and beyond what you worked with during AP Clash and a great example of the skill set you possess. I can only hope you'll offer us more fantastic tech wallpapers in the future, Phoenix!
