im quite disappointed with how the election turned out though i actually had a
feeling kerry wouldnt win. i guess like i heard on the radio this morning
"this country loves crap".
anyways on to this cruddy wall i made here, it was actualy made last night while
this idiotic election was goin on and becaue of this and other reasons, i was
feeling kinda depressed and angry. hence why i returned to my old ways and made
this quick, grungey and messy wall. i didnt use any artwork at all but instead
used storyboards that i somehow got long ago. i basically just cut up a few of
them, rearranged them, added some shading and put in some textures and such.
the title really has nothing to do with the following text. the title just
seemed to fit the look of the wall as in "reanimate." the
� symbol, refers to
�NIMA (as in Tool)
and the backwards N is obviously from NIN. there is no reason i did that, just
that i felt like it. the text that follows is from the John Lennon song
"Imagine" which was recently covered on eMOTIVe by A Perfect Circle
which is an album everyone should get. its a cover album on songs that deal
with war, peace, love and greed that came out yesterday Nov 2, to coincide with
the election.

I'm not sure about how the "re AENimate" is blending with the background. The edges aren't dirty? enough. <g>

i like the composition, but the sketches at the right might fit the large one on the left better with some filtering. The thick pencil lines used to shade them makes them look too different in my opinion.

I saw a preview of it and I must say I was VERY impressed with what I saw, my
friends addicted as well. The wall have a VERY intersting Grunge theme goin' on
here which is what I really like and the color choice was a wise decision at
that. Whats even more amazing is how you made this whole wall come together.
Sure, it may LOOK simple, but to me its a whole lot more. The enlarged face was
a great idea and his facial expression alone just makes this wall look amazing,
but the secondary picture is what really got me, just a great spot for it as
well and when I put it on my desktop I always seem to come to his face whenever
I look at the screen (since I'm always lookin' at the clock or what not
>.>) but nonetheless everything fits so nicely and neaty together to form
a wonderful bliss of emotion. A VERY well done grunge wall that earns my
favorite hands down. Favorite of the day to be exact.
