I love how you zeroed in on that one part of the scan, which I didn't even notice before. And how you included the song around the two hands. It looks great as a miniature, but the full size version looks a little lacking. It looks like the outlines of the wispy notes/cloth/innocence weren't vectored, which makes things look a little less clean. But I very much love the concept and the textures you used. =)

Once upon a time I used to make wallpapers. By which I mean half a decade ago, apparently. OTL
D.Gray-man is the narrative apple of my eye right now, so a wallpaper had to happen because I express my ~*~feelings~*~ through Photoshop. I feel like this is pretty decent representation of my favorite subplot in the series. (And the Fourteenth Noah doesn't have a character tag on MT, apparently. Saaaad.)
The hands are a vector of this gorgeous scan from the Noche artbook while the texture overlayed in the swirly...Innocency...thing came from my lovely Kyuu. <3 If you squint just right, I also overlayed some of the lyrics from Tsunaida Te ni Kiss wo.
I sort of flubbed the score part of it because a high-res version is impossible to find, but it's close enough, right?

@angelpup1419: Thanks for pointing those out! I actually have a scaled version on my desktop (1280x1024) so those rougher lines and patches don't show up as well for me. I'm probably going to go through and smooth some areas out in a revision later; a lot of them escaped my notice because the image itself is so ridiculously detailed x_x I'm glad I drew your attention to that part of the scan, though! It's gorgeous.

A D Gray Man wall! :flail: Haven't seen a new one in ages. :D This is a rather lovely abstract wall; I love the hands ("Right hand for humans, left hand for akuma" - together, he will embrace them all), and the wood bark-like contours on the Innocence, with the music notes seeping out is a great idea. It would be a bit easier on the eyes if the larger shadow on it wasn't so pitch-black though.. Maybe a gradient and some of that slightly grainy texture over? Love the neutral simplicity of the colours and the Musician's Score though. :3
