Hello Everyone !
How are you today ? .. This is a new wallpaper I've made recently .. Hope you like it ^^
This wallpaper is for :
Details :
Programme : PS CS4
Patterns and Textures : 3 .. Two brown and the flower one in the background ( Sorry .. I don't remember their websites .. They were downloaded long ago :3 )
Brushes : also 3 .. Swirly behind the girl ( or the woman :P ) .. Grass at the bottom .. Japanese flowers at the right side
Pictures : This Scan .. ( By the way .. thanks
to the member who posted this :) )
I extracted the girl with The Pen Tool and adjusted her colors using ( Image --> Levels .. and Image --> Curves
)
I also used two brown layers ( only coloured ) and made one "lighten" and the other "overlay" to make some effects
Fonts : DFKai for the Kanji ( I made some effects like drop shadow .. also made it screen ) .. Gabriola for "
BEAUTY "
As for alternative version :
- When you click 
You'll find " Gradient Map
"
I used this after adjusting the color panel to its normal ( Black and white ) .. You can easily click ( D ) :P
- With a black brush I colored the parts I want ( The Kimono and the Flowers on her hair ) Then made a selection on the background and used the gradient tool .. To make half painted and the other not ^^
- I used ( Select --> Color range ) and selected only the red color on the picture .. then copied it and pasted .. then ( Filter --> Blur --> Guassian Blur ) .. ( Don't use this filter too much or it should be too shiny )
- I duplicated the whole image and used ( Filter --> Noise --> Median ) then made it soft light ^^

Nice wallpaper... rotating the scan a bit worked wonders... i guess
For some reason though i don't like the kanji script there
Please forgive me T_T
but i think the flowery pattern and shadows of the script don't get along well with the rest of the wallpaper... using some plain coloring or texturing would've looked better to me( note: only to me)But except that... this one's awesome

Well, I didn't really like the kanji there too, but the work is very nice. I specially liked the third version, of the wall.
