This is something I had drawn 2 years ago. At that time I decided to kind of "experiment" and try to paint the picture using the acrylics. I am quite happy with how it turned out, though I have not finished it (did not know what color use for her kimono).

C&C welcomed :]

btw. the colors in the original drawing look slightly different... while scanning they sort of uh.. well changed... the background for instance was more pinkish, while the girl's hair were more purple...

Thanks Akina >.< glad you consider it a "nice artwork" as a matter of fact i am usually dissatisfied with my drawings to the extent that almost 99% of them end up in the wastebasket... though this one miraculously survieved :P

Very nice colorings, and that is a very realistic expression on her face...
I wonder why you almost throw this one to wastebasket,
    because it's very good.
    Keep it up!

Owow~ I can never get that result if I used acrylics. *jealous* This is a nice one. Her expression is nice and her hair is nice too. For her kimono color, white would be good with lil flowers or something like that, or whatever. But you don't have to listen to me. ^_^

Looks like an illustration, when I first saw it I though it was a scan from a 80's serie because of the painting :D

wow ... i'm continuing to browse your draws ... this one is really my above all favourite.

the hair style is really similar to some saint seya character. Some golden knights have that kind of blue hairs. The movements you make are always astonishing me. The hair are like moving so naturally. And on this one it is particullarly well done and full of details.

what touches me the most is the emotion on her face. It is perfect. She seems to be alive. The eyebrows move ; The emotions on the eyes & The mouth makes really think she is sad. But is it tears of joy or of sadness ... is it difficult to say.

And again i think the way of hiding one eye with hair is wonderful. It looks very natural. it is often used in some mangas to show the despair or the reflexion. It is well used here.

the colouring is also perfect. the pink colours are very smooth. It looks like some artbook picture really. Painting well is really hard and you did it wonderfully. Well in her hair we see sometimes the "brush" moves. But in general i think it gives a nice effect. The root of her hair is also wonderful the lines are well placed. It seems so real ^^

the shadows and lightnings area are very professionaly placed too. Not too much. The shadow parts projected by her hair is perfect. Just the same form as the hair. And there is no too much glowing parts. Like for example in your femmes femmes .... 2 scan (on the legs of the women). I think they are bad placed on that scan. It doens't look natural. As she was rolled in the butter ^^ it's difficult to use that glowing parts well and you have succeeded. At least in my opinion.

all i say is really honest. I wouldn't take time to encourage you if it wasn't good. Your pictures have touched me. It's really professional. I think you could go far if you want.

i really hope you'll continue drawing and continue posting here. It's always a pleasure for me. It inspirates me also. I think when i'll restart drawing you'll sure be one of my inspiration source.

P.S : i have found what was your style like. Your elf girl looks like nova in magic knight rayearth. The eyes and mouth and even face form are likely. I'm comparing you to those clamp buddies ^^ no really don't be ashamed of your works.
profesionalism is maybe self-criticism but you have surely masterpieces in your dustbin ^^

she kinda looks like Subaru from Hack//Sign ^_^ but I think it's very beautiful and very nice ^_^ I love the way you did her hair and the tears on her it looks like she a cartoon character :) anyway very nice Jasmine ^_^

Oh! this one is so sad :( why the long face? I really think that it's very expressive and you managed to express about your feelings back there by this beautiful doujin even though it looks pretty old but I really find it beautiful and cute :) about the kimono I think orange can fits it!
