Finally! It's done. I've been working on it since December last year but because of school, I wasn't able to concentrate on it.Anyway, why did I wall VK?
Ever since I bought a VK novel: Ice Blue Sin, I've been having this VK craze. So I decided to wall VK. I checked MT and AP for scans, but most of them have been taken already except for this. I was wondering why nobody wants to wall this nice scan. When I started to work on it, I finally found out why.
I started with the linearts and a rough extension of the scan (Yuuki's hair and Ichijo's body). The chair was hard to extend, so I asked Alenas for help. I want to thank her for the rough sketch of the extension she made. This made it easier for me to vector the chair but the angle is really ticking me off. I must say I enjoy doing their hair and the EYES! It's the first time I did that kind of eyes.
The next thing that is hard is the BG. As you can see from the scan, it's a WTH curtains!? so what am I suppose to add in the BG. I first tried doing a table, but it sucks and so I made a couch. I want to thank Trofichi for the textures. She gave me a bunch of Floral and wood textures to work on. The clock came from D. Gray-man manga (Rewinding Town's chapter) and I just cut it to make an antique wall clock. At first I was gonna place a window instead of a clock, but Trofichi forbid me. She have a point that windows are over used in walls already. After drawing everything in place, I have a hard time choosing the color scheme. Finally I settled down with this one - somewhat reddish brown. Kitten also helped me in deciding which parts to place the textures. Thanks Kitten!

Another breathtaking wallpaper of Vampire Knight! It's been long since I saw a wallpaper like this! Good job. I like the colors, reconstruction and extension of what needs to be done and the scan you chose. The colors match the concept of the wallpaper pretty well. I also like the clock. Keep up the good work!

Aha, Time for me to have my say about this ^^ So nice to see you combine all those different elements into one harmonious picture! You've really stepped it up a notch. Great colours, nice work on the extensions and great use of those strategically placed patters. It's a feast for my eyes.. which reminds me: nicely done those eyes XD

The extension looks amazing, didn't see any unnaturalness yet.
The wall looks better than the scan for me, cos I though the scan was a bit blurry and too close.
The distance you had in the wall is perfect for my liking. -
