I extracted Marisa and vectored the rest. the dangly things and border are adapted from the original scan. took about 6 straight hours of almost non stop work. I didn't count the layers, so lets just say lots.

Overall good work, I like the composition and your vector matches the extracted parts really well. The lines on the mushroom are a little jagged though. Not sure why. Good work anyway. ^_^

really nice picture. i love the mashroom here. it's quite relevant with the green part of Marisa's costume. really good design.
