What a great timing! I finished this wall, and my PHOSPHOR artbook arrived on the same day! So happy! But I won't be scanning my artbook for 2 reasons. One, the artbook (with customized box, a deck of cards & drama CD) is quite expensive. And Two, I bought that as a birthday gift for myself (which the artbook was supposed to be released last March). I just couldn't bear to bend or ripped off that artbook. Na-ah. No way in 7 hell!
But anyways, I'm glad I FINALLY done with this one. Vectoring Luka was hard. The cleaned scans come out only after I'm done outlining Luka. So, I just use it as a reference for the bottom part of Luka that was heavily covered from the 1st scans. But still, both scans quality is not very good ;__; And I'm having a hard time because of that. The hardest part is actually with Luka wings & chains. That drives me crazy, and took me much longer than I intend ;__;
As for the background. Even though it's very simple, I'm actually proud of it. Why? Coz it was made from scratch. Yes, I didn't vector any part of the wall, floor, pillar and even the stained glass from any scans or stock photos (except for Yuki & the wing hearts on the stained glass). It's quite challenging, and I had ZERO sense in art too. I was confused as hell when I had to put the shadows on them. Hope they look okay, coz I'm too tired to work on this one anymore ;__; It's about time I moved on to other works.
For the title, I actually got it from "Bodygurad from Beijing" ^^ When I look back at this wall, the title sounds really fitting. It's like a devil was sent down to protect the Saint. That's how I really see this wall. Putting Yuki on the stained glass is a right choice afterall ^_^

Nice! Finally! I like the atmosphere and the body on the glass window.. I guess that is Yuki right? I think there could be more shading for Luka clothing.. To show the darker and lighter part.. It look black on my screen..

I was so waiting for a more vibrant BG. The other one looked so dull. I had nothing to focus on and got lost kind of. But now it's really eyecatching and the first thing you focus on is the light, that leads you directly to the hot bishie. I really love Luka and also really really adore your wallpapers!
