Aww...-_-;; I don't think it looks bad at all. When I look at it, I feel that there's something a tiny bit imbalanced, but it's like, the kind of thing that would take only a slight alteration to fix...>.< Like maybe Gwendel's just a little too far to the right or something...*shakes head* I'm not really sure. But it looks great even so, I love the colors...:D

This poor poor wallpaper. T_T It's been sitting on my hard drive for months (yes months I started the vector back in summer believe it or not). To be perfectly honest it doesn't feel done, but I've decided it IS done since I'm so sick of staring at it. XD
So yes... there is no original offical artwork on here, all of it was traced or made from scratch. The main vector image is here: KKM: King for a Day by Tama-Neko and was scanned by Tama-Neko. The background is something I made using screenshots of the opening song of the series as references.
The only thing that bothers me is the 3 outlines on the right. The guy on the left looks awesome XD I just wish the other ones looked as good. T_T The horse was especially hard since I was trying to improve on theirs. Seriously is there not a single animator in all of Japan that can draw a horse? It's painful to watch sometimes, and even this show is light years ahead of...say the Kenshin series in drawing accurate horses. Are they that rare of an animal in Japan?
I'm not sure what Gwendel's whole name is. >_> The fansub I have used "vom" instead of "van" but van sounds cooler to me and it's sort of hard to tell which one the character is saying when he's introduced. XD Oh yes in case anyone is interested in this show it's very funny with sort of a simple but amusing plot. It is full of yaoi jokes though. Like FULL, full of them. (although they actually make fun of yaoi fangirls in a few episdoes which is the funniest part of the whole show in my opinion)
So yeah, this is one of my few scenery walls so feedback/criticism is appreciated! :D

I don't think this is bad at all Myrrh! I'm not a huge fan of vector based stuff myself, but I think it looks pretty awesome. The background--like with the smoke and stuff--looks kind of *too* smooth to me....too undetailed, too quiet in terms of "noise". But that's just a personal opinion. I love the orange flakeys, and the overall composition is great. A+ work girl!

I agree with Riana, the background is just a little too smooth and un-detailed. And maybe I would have put something in the sky...? *shrugs* Maybe not. Other than the un-detailed...ness, I see nothing wrong with it. ^_^
Your choice of font is awesome, I LOVE that font. It fits the wall perfectly!
