EDIT: followed Kitten's suggestions- Wallpaper is darker now, the shadows are brighter and the signature is more visible (on the headphones!)

Sheesh, who thought I am dead? Did you guys thought of me? Well, I was gone for quite some time due to my apprenticeship. The past 36 weeks I have not opened Photoshop even once. I had no time and no motivation at all. However, yesterday morning I felt the urge to wall again and I did nothing else the past hours. Luckily I have easter holidays (HAPPY EASTER!), so it was not such a big problem. And all thanks to ps cs5. what a nice programm =D Anyways do not expect me to be really active again. Just consider this wallpaper as a expectation since I do not really know if I have the time again to wall. My final exams are in June, just about 5 weeks left. I am kidna scared (but afterwards I have 2 1/2 month free until my labotory starts ;D)

Enough random babbling, now's time for wallpaper information. =D

I actually have a lot of scans I want to wall but I choosed this screenshot of a girl I never saw before just because an idea popped into my mind immediately. So I vectored her, added some shadings and highlights by myself (correct me if I did wrong!) and changed her facial expression. I actually wanted a singing mouth, but could not do it so I went for a simple smiling one. And I closed her eyes.
The reflecion in the windows was a pain in the ***. First I vectored the oroginal screenshot and forbot to change her expression, then I was never satisfied with the result. I blurred a bit and make it almost invincible and now you do not really see her weird nose and mouth.

As for the background I used another scan as a reference, namely this: Usi (I got an A in english class - finally! - but somehow what I write still sounds weird for me oO) but since I am bad at painting (and too lazy to try it out again. I was still glad I knew how to vector XD) I went for a simple grass landscape, with a bursh I do not know where I got it (you know it? please tell me so I can give proper credit!)- somewhere from deviantart I think. The left birdie and the airplane were nice to make. I first added more but it was to crowded so the got dismissed. Same for the clouds. Well, it is a cloudless sky, like the last days here =D Maybe it's interesing, but before I choosed the Usi scan, I wanted to make sunflowers but hell! too much work XD

    Whoops, looks like you forgot your signature! Unless I missed it on something?
    I really love the concept, and she's adorable...I was hoping to see a wall featuring her.
    I do think the wall is very bright though, so much so you can't really focus
    on anything else. The details are being overshadowed by the intense brightness.
    However, I see the BG and it looks very nice though I wish I could enjoy it more
    and the colors weren't so washed out. Fix that and this will be a very wonderful wall.

    Okay I will work on the brightness of the wallpaper.. Somehow my monitor is broken and darker than usual. Should have reconsidered it.

    I put my signature on the headphones. Maybe I should make the size bigger?

    I'm addicted in that anime since when I saw the first episode, so good can see a wall of Ohana-chan so earlier! ?
    I loved the changes that you made in the original screenshot, it looks much more happy and pass a good feeling of tranquility. Don't know why, but I liked of the brightness of this wall, I just don't liked so much of the grass at a first look, but now it's ok for me.
