I love this movie! And this is my favourite scene, when they meet and start walking on the sky! You really capture the moment when Sophie starts trusting Howl. Great job!

This one is dedicated to all of my friends, as a "I love you" present and also
as a "Happy belated birthday" present, since I missed a lot of them...
I started it a while ago after watching Howl's Moving Castle by accident. It reminded me how much I loved this
movie and how hot Howl Jenkins is.
just at the same time I searched for good scans and then took this screenshots:
Screen 1 and Screen 2
(No I did not forget his nostril, I didn't like it...)
Vectored the outlines in PS, added also the basic colors and then painted in SAI. Then first time painted clouds...I
think they turned out nice.
It helped me a lot yesterday, to distract myself...cuz something really bad happened in my family and well...painting
and crying kinda releases me...
I hope you like it...
Have 2 versions, one with colored lines and one without. Choose yourself which you like best.

I seriously have to agree with ilufa. it's like an actual scene from the movie so excellent art work. I found you captured the mood quite nicely and I like how you paid so close to detail. makes me want to watch this movie now :)

Ahh, I love that movie and this is such a sweet scene so I'm glad someone managed to portray is to nicely and brightly. The clouds look so fluffy and lovely, too and I really like that subtle blush on Sophie's face.
Art also helps me to overcome crappy situations so yeah, I know what you mean. I hope things turn for the better for you and your family. <3

I remember this movie... and that's one of my most favorite scenes ever. Very nice and lots of emotions are coming with this. Very wonderful job on the details yet keeping its simplicity and the wholesome image of that scene as well.

You did an awesome job. I only glanced at this and could tell how amazing it was ^-^ beautiful well detailed and I like how you combined the two shots to get the best out of both. One of the best (if not THE best) wallpaper I've seen for this movie <3

LUV the coloured outlines, very nice scene you picked there (it's my favourite movie btw). it has a very calm, smooth feel too. I do find some of the lines too thick, for instance on the hair, so it would advise you to make them more refined next time. but very good work!
