EDIT: Creation details

Original Scan here

The base shape of the floor and Ice was painted with fill colors. The stock was placed in a rough position. Low-opacity round brush and smudge tool used to shade the walls and ceiling and detail the ice spikes. Scattered round brush used for sparkles with a glow layer made from airbrushing and gaussian blur (outer glow layer styling can be used to achieve the same thing with different settings from the default). Lines of light were created with brush and a glow layer underneath. Custom feather brush with scattering, angle, and size jitter was used. Magic circle was created in a different document with custom shapes and pen tool, then warped to fit in with the perspective of the wallpaper. Glow layer was fit underneath. Airbrush used to create the fog that would come from the condensation of the water vapor in the air from the chill of the ice. Detailing done under the ice spikes to depict the frosting and cracks on the ground.

I am glad you fixed the extraction issues, and decided to try and resubmit your wallpaper again. It's very pretty.

wow, I find this nice. The addition of magic circles is very nice that it fits the theme of the wallpaper. But I still think the over-bluish/cyan of it hurts the eyes.
