Another new work since a while :P

Original idea was to have him running through a field of butterflies. I drew a few different other ideas, but I couldn't get the feel I wanted, so I left the idea to hang for a long time. I drew a similar action to this roughly a year ago, and the changes have been apparent because he has obviously grown up from his chibi appearance. I know most of you prefer his deceivingly cute appearance, but since Zuru is apart of my own personal depiction of my current state of mind, I guess I have just grown up a little in that aspect.

Anyways, this was just a quick painting and a desperate need of a new wallpaper to look at. So, just pencil drawing, painted in Photoshop, then added texture and done. Forgive me for my laziness..!

I want to do better after each drawing/painting, but it's pretty hard to make something on par with or better than "when dreams collide" or "drifting off to sleep", which are in my opinion, pretty awesome if I do say so myself, heh. Seriously though, I guess all I can do now is try to keep the consistency and just make what I like the look of.

wow it has been a while!
I'm glad you created a new drawing of Zuru. He looks awesome and I like the chibi version and the grown-up version just as much. I just really love every bit of Zuru. The clothes, the colors, the forms, the settings. So I think it's awesome that your character is growing with you.

I hope seeing more of the new grown up Zuru!
Love the colors and the movement in this wallpaper
Even though it may seem like a hasty job to you I think it's still a good wallpaper.
Keep up the work! ^____^ byebye

Been awhile, I like that he shows growth. It's now more realistic and he doesn't seem
too soft or childish. Though I did like his chibi look at times, was quite adorable.

Like, everyone else, I really like the sense of movement - there's a samurai-ish vibe to this wall, which is awesome! Nicely done as always :D I've pimped this wall in Simple-ism!

Woohoo, more Zuru! I'll just echo what was already said, but I'll say it anyway, the movement and color are brilliant and this is a lovely piece. Good work.

for some odd reason this is one unique piece of work, I really enjoy it. I like how you made it so simple yet so many questions could arise to why the bunny could be running. and in another stand point what could they be escaping from? themselves?
