it really has a nostalgic air around it, just like an old photo. :)
the BG could've have been detailed a bit more by blurring less the snow and colored a bit more since it kinda looks a bit washed out. D:

I would like to ask, how you do that kind of effect color .. You paint in those colors, or you paint in normal colors ( as the scan ) , and after you use plugins and adjustment colors? -

A lovely soft wintery moment. The change from sharp focus to blurring creates a sense of perspective, but also directs the eye to admire his features even more. Lovely work!

I admire your painting way especially in the hair part, the effects you added in the hair and the background.
The blurry background gives focus to the scan.
