Processor Units are the armor bits that attach to each of the Hearts when they transform in battle. There's wings, shoulder bits, skirts, headgear and arm and leg bits, all of which can be changed and swapped out for other sets or individually. Each piece contributes to the Heart's overall power in different ways.
Pictured here are the default sets for each of the four Hearts.
