This wallpaper was derived from the second season's opening of Shakugan no Shana. I started the wallpaper back in summer of 2010 but I wasn't very successful because the platform Shana is standing on and the railing was difficult to make. It wasn't around October-November when I started to work on it on a near-daily basis. The wallpaper is mostly gradient meshes with some blurred paths. I used layers and blend modes to adjust the colors of the closer buildings and opacity masking on Shana to get the red light to reflect off her. The font I used was Optimus Princeps because I felt the serif matched the theme of the anime.
