You really need to remember to give the link of the scans you use, we shouldn't
have to run around the net for it just to see the difference.
The vector is pretty well done, I do think the dark shape on her shoulder is un-needed.
And the floors definitely needs more texture in it, looks way too flat.

Hi!
I just fell in awe of this scan of Type Moon (found on AP)!
So I made the vector and re-create the BG in changing the floor, addind a window shadow and vectored books (sooo long!) on the floor. I chose warm atmosphere, as if she had fallen asleep on her book at the end of the day...
I especially emphasized the lightning, shadows, perspective and contrats-saturation to try creating something sweet, warm and peaceful.
I hope you'll like it!

It's a nice scene, I like the atmosphere but I agree about the floor looking flat. I'm also a bit confused about the dual shadows of the pillar she's leaning on - if the light is coming from behind and the left side is in the dark, why is the pillar dropping a shadow to the right if there is no light on the left side?
Anyway, at this point I'm really starting to wonder if you even eat and sleep to be able to churn out walls every couple of days...

Hee hee. I do that all the time! I like the warm comfortable feel of this wall. I agree with what alenas mentioned, the shadows do kinda contridict each other, even though at first I thought it was a reflection in the floor. I think the openes of the floor adds to the feel of the wall. Wow, i'm rambling, sorry! I love this wall! Thanks for sharing.
