Nice design. Can't say I know much of anything about the characters you were talking about But I think you did a
nice job on the outfit.
It's very feminine and lady like, well done.
Artist Comment
Made for a contest on da where i had to re design Aqua's outfit =) I kinda use more da than MT now =P
Anyway, this piece is officially my longest work! Around 5 whole days or something: half day doing the new design and sketch, 1 day for lineart (best lineart i've ever done) and finally around 4 days just coloring and background (yeah, i know, it's a lame bg but it still took me time OTL)
At first i suffered with the skirt thingie, but then discovered something i hated more her chest armor! That thing, and only THAT thing took me at least half of the 3rd day of coloring! :rage:
The fun part were her legs lol and i'm still learning to do decent hair T w T
Redesign Concept:
First of all, i wanted to keep the original design's influence so basically the color palette is there c:
I really thought of the design so she would be able to fight at will, hence the inner part is full body with shorts,
then the skirt detail goes so there is a more feminine feeling, alike the original outfit.
Her right arm is like the original but with some extra detail followed to the left shoulder.
The armor on her left hand is there so she can use it as some kind of shield while wielding her keyblade at battle.
Basically, i took the idea from Terra, because i wanted to add something about him.
Her left sleeve is somehow inspired by Ven, even tho i kinda fixed it so it could flow with freedom and look lady for
Aqua XD (She is such a lady) The sleeve also reminds me of Zack's appearance on Olympus Coliseum. c:
And finally the Stormfall keyblade, because that's the final weapon for Aqua on the cutscenes.
