The contest was incorporating lyrics from an Emilie Autumn song in or representing them with a wallpaper.
The song I chose can be boiled down to being judged and breaking free. Fitting for Clare I thought.
Claymore's art is so stylized I just can't vector it myself with photoshop and a mouse, so I was thrilled when I came upon this vector. The background is fairly simple- curved lines to mirror the cape. Sorry if anyone isn't a fan of gray. It's actually my favorite color (besides green) so while I know it's not exactly colorful and fun, I hope people can still enjoy it.
