I love the characters stance and how the colors are very striking, they stand out a lot. The shadowing is admirable as well, a very nice scan indeed!

When it was on iichan it was with a torrent for the OST, so it might be the coverart for the OST. Either way, it's hot because it's Maria. The world needs more of her.

It's most definitely a doujinshi cover. Its content is very nice, but it isn't worksafe by any means.
As far as I know, Maria isn't often used in official artwork, so if you want to see a lot of artwork of her, you'll have to rely on fanart for the most part.
