It's better than not having any effort in drawing manga/anime.
I can't even draw those, so what you produce is good. Of course, it takes time to perfect, so just practise. -

props to ya for being original :D ok with the hands, ..first ya do is, look at ur hands and do that pose ya want to draw, basically copy what you see, and curled fists or hands that are holding someting doesn't go straight down like that, look at ur palm when ya make a fist? there's this ummm curve beside the pinky, so it isn't just straight draw a sideways v curve beside the pinky..hope that helped lol
