Could you possibly do this wall without Yuki in it with just Luka for me? I would love to have it. I thinks this looks really good, very awesome job! And I look forward to all your other works for UraBoku!

YATTA! I finished another UraBoku wall! *happy dance* And in just a short time too ^^
For those who didn't know, the original scans is a cover of UraBoku PS2 game (regular edition) which will be released on Oct.28, 2010. Whilst, THIS is the Deluxe edition cover ^^ Oh, just so you know.. the genre for the game is Visual Novel >___<
Anyways, I started working on this one right after I'm done with my last UraBoku wall, Starless Night. And took me about a month to completely finished painting Luka & Yuki. The source image is pretty small (only 602x800 px). So I did struggle a lot on their heads & faces ^^; Oh, and the extended parts too. Yuki's side look okay, but.. not on Luka's. They're a bit sloppy. And I think the lightning a bit off too. Haha.. sorry about that. I'm really weak with these kind of things.
The painting process was a bit fun. I didn't had much problem with them. Well, I do struggle a little on Yuki clothes, but.. it went well in the end. And I tried something else for Yuki hairs too. And as usual, I prefer not to paint their hairs ^^
As for the background, this is actually my 3rd ones. The 1st & 2nd ones, is an indoor ones. And after much concideration I decided not to used both, and made an outdoor ones instead. So, that means I actually had 2 unused background! LOL.. guess I can use them on any of my other UraBoku walls later ^^ Anyways I used this scene as my reference for the background. I wouldn't say I'm happy with how they turn out. The cross graves & lands look weird. I wasn't sure how to do the lightning. But this scene is sure much better than my indoor ones!
The title "Cry for the Moon" is a chapter title for Story 39. And the "Moon" is referring to Yuki. You see, his name written in Kanji is like this: ??. If you read the kanji directly, they become "Yuuzuki" meaning "Evening Moon". The "Yu" in his name comes from ??(Yuuhi - Evening), and the "Ki" is from ? (Tsuki - Moon). So, the title chapter is referring to Yuki. Besides, the last page on Story 39, had the dialog I posted in the beginning. It shows Sairi (one of the last pair of Zweils) looking at the moon. With those dialogue which roughly translated as: "I longed (desire) for that moon." Although, these hands can never reach it. Never... Baaaaaaawww! Yuki harem is growing again with another 2 Zweilts ^^ And that makes me a happy fangirl!

Lol, at first I thought the title came from Epica's song of the same name, but I guess I was wrong xD It's a nicely done work, however I think Yuki's face looks kinda weird, the eyes, nose and mouth are not symmetrical, the mouth and nose are a little off to the right. But apart from that it's an awesome wallpaper. Thanks for sharing ^.^

Your painting skills get better with every new wall you throw out.
I love the smooth look, it's perfect for such a miserable yet calming BG.
I really adore the color of the sky, how the black sudden takes over the top...there's such a creep
elegance to it. So much so I wish I could sit there and just admire it's full beauty.
