Ugetsu Hakua Wallpaper: l'autunno

My wall for the final round of AP clash. Here's the (rather lengthy) description I wrote for it:

Since I had discovered AP, it has been a constant source of not only beautiful walls and scans, but also inspiration that had made me learn how to wall and use my own creativity to share it with others. I must say that I felt inspired and influenced by many wallers and walls and it’s really hard for me to single them out. But, if I have to choose, then I remember staring at walls made by anolibb and grayserg and wondering how they managed to make them look so pretty, colorful, crisp and original.

One wall made by anolibb in particular was what I could call a turning point that made me learn how to work with Photoshop and start my own walling ‘career’. My current style differs a lot from the one I just mentioned but since it’s something I’ve wanted to learn how to do for a very long time, this was a perfect opportunity for me to finally try it.

Vectoring/vexeling everything wasn’t easy and I must admit I was very frustrated at first, leaving the wall and then coming back to work on it again, but as I slowly got the hang of it, I realized it was more fun than I had originally thought and I really enjoyed working on it. I’m actually very satisfied with the end result and I think I had managed to accomplish what I wanted – to get close to anolibb’s style and to finally learn how to vector/vexel everything without swearing too much at the computer screen, lol. And since it’s autumn here now and I love it, I decided to go for an autumn-ish theme and colors.

I’d also like to use this chance to thank Jay and Flyin for giving me this opportunity to participate, judges for their awesome patience and feedback and of course, I’d like to thank anolibb and other awesome wallers for inspiring me and pushing me forward without even knowing; you guys rock! <3
