The first time I saw this scan I fell in love so it was obvious I had to wall it. The original scan was pretty small and
dark, so I had to reconstruct quite some of the things. I found Yuuki's outfit not very appealing that's why I
tried to change it to something prettier and more elegant :) I also added a ribbon on her hand and the head band. The
coloring was not that hard except her eyes; I re-did them quite some times and I'm still not satisfied with them. I
wanted to make them more reddish then her usual brown ones, I think they stand out more this way.
As for Kaname, it was fun making him. I had to reconstruct his hair and shirt but it wasn't as hard as I imagined.
I didn't do any modifications to him.
I had an idea for the bg from the start. I wanted to make an indoor scene that's rather gloomy. I got inspired for
making the rain based on current weather. It's been raining for over a month now :P The brown part near the window
is actually a tree (big one), I didn't forget to put the wall texture on it ^^;;

Nice to see such a different scan used, I'm sad Yuuki lost her sorrowful expression though.
It looks more bittersweet now, but I understand it could be from the unclear lines in the original scan.
The BG is simply VK, meaning it fits perfectly for them. I do see some little things that need a bit of tweaking
like the yellow rope is too yellow for the scene. Also where the window (on the left) is I notice the wall
beside it seems to have some rain looking texture on it and somehow as you look down you then see
the wall's texture...perhaps a missed mistake?
I do like that you put so much texture in the piece, really brings more elegance and realisim to it.
Overall it's a lovely job, so glad to see something from you twinie <3 -

I have a question. Did you purposedly made her eyes in that red-ish tone? I know vampire's eyes change to red when they're mad or feeding, that's why I'm asking you, since normally Yuuki's eyes are brown. That's the only thing that's kinda bothering me.
Apart from that little detail, I like the whole thing. Thanks for sharing and keep up the good work ^.^ -

Firstly, great job reconstructing. For me it's best when VK walls are made from the little mono-colored commercial images, they have so much potential and you fulfilled it! :D
Such great attention to the details *___* and I love the things you've changed/added it really goes perfectly with the concept :D
(I knew I saw that ribbon somewhere before, I've had my eyes on that other scan)
The bg fits perfectly!
And I love how seme Yuuki is becoming, she's sucking the manliness out of Kaname XD -
