well... this is my second draw only using layers on photoshopc cs4...........
the lineart took me about 2 hours....
colors = 6 hours
layers = 15

very cute and adorable indeed. it's so sweet, it's just begging to adopt me. the work looks familiar. this looks like Izumi Sakurazawa's work. but either way I really enjoyed how you paid attention to the eyes, which I tend to fail often in drawing.
