Another first for me tonight, and another brand spankin' new one! Poor CyanideBlizzard might have a heart attack! XD

Anyway, here we have another gorgeous scan I found in the galleries of MT and wanted to use it right away. It was a pain in the butt to cut out, but it was worth it. Also glad I had the chance to really go crazy on this one with the gazillions of brushes I have---I can name about 5 of them used in this that I had never touched before. O.o Anyway, the lyrics have been bouncing in my head for sometime too--it's from one of my favorite artists, Phil Joel--"God Is Watching Over You". Really nice, uplifting song about redeemption and hope. Anyways, I'm a huge Cowboy Bebop fan (even if I don't like the *Dallas* Cowboys, lol) and I thought it fit Spike pretty well.

    Like the wallpaper you made. Like the touch with a hand print in the background.

    I know a friend that has one like it, its so comfy!

    Anyways I must say Riana-chan that this wall is definately a mood-setter. Nice effect on that and the coloring of the background very nicely fits with Spike and his wardrobe. The text I really like because you take it from a normal font and you give the last word in the two lines a cursive touch, that was a VERY nice idea I must say. Anyways all in all its a great Bebop wall that I'm sure even Spike would have to say "Damn....I look good" =P Favorite for me and a job well done for you.

    An interesting question--I was wondering if anyone would ask. To me the hand represents your identity---your fingerprints are part of what makes you individually and uniquely you. But the color--the muddy brown--to me invokes a sense of dirtiness, guilt, regret--sort of like Spike's regret for his own past. So you see it was very symbolic. ^^;
