Well, I decided to create a quick wall using these scans:
Scan #1, Scan #2
Seeing that they came from the same box or something (even though I really don't know how their orientation was. XD)----I decided to combine them. Making them look like as if they're lying down with their heads together at the middle. At first, I wasn't really sure on how to blend the scans together, but I managed it in the end.
There were no vectors/re-CGs done here. It's all pure rendering, blending + textures. The textures were put to give it that nice papery, unfinished, sketchy feel to it. (^3^)
This was made in about 2 hours.
Well, I hope you guys like this as much as I do. ^^v

I think the text somehow helps the composition not to look like things have just been crowded together (though the crowding is by all means lovely).
I personally wouldn't have necessarily homed in on it being grass that they are lying on. Perhaps for that reason I also think the heavier texture looks better, as the image feels like it isn't a naturalistic setting anyway (and the green is also less glaring in the more textured version). That you managed to create that look without recourse to CG or vectoring is also just how I like it!
